About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Trading Systems to be a key player in the design, development, and maintenance of automated trading systems and their supporting infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for building scalable services that encompass order generation, execution, monitoring, and risk management. This role also involves enhancing system performance, resiliency, and operational reliability, as well as collaborating with quantitative researchers to deploy new strategies into production. The Vice President will be expected to develop tools for real-time monitoring, alerting, and diagnostics, optimize data pipelines, and troubleshoot production issues with a focus on long-term engineering solutions. Applicants for the Vice President of Trading Systems position at the company should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics. Strong software engineering experience in languages like Python, C++, Java, or similar is required, along with a background in building distributed systems and production-grade applications. A solid understanding of databases, networking, and systems architecture, as well as experience in Linux environments, is essential.
