Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician 3rd/2nd Shift

A fast-growing, highly automated packaging facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support, troubleshoot, and repair advanced production equipment. This role works hands-on with robotics, conveyors, AGVs, palletizers, and high-speed packaging machinery while ensuring full compliance with OSHA, GMP, and facility safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and automation issues across robotics, AGVs, PLC-controlled systems, and motor drives.
• Perform scheduled inspections and repairs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Maintain case sealers, conveyors, vertical baggers, flow wrappers, heat tunnels, printers, weigh scales, balers, pallet wrappers, and robotic cells.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and manuals to support accurate repairs.
• Support installation and commissioning of new automation, including additional robotic arms.
• Participate in continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending long-term solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 13 years of industrial, manufacturing, or automated equipment maintenance experience.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Hands-on experience with robotics, conveyors, vertical baggers, and high-speed packaging equipment.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and robotic cells.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57200.00 - $57200.00/yr. Health, Dental, Vision, 401k
