Position Overview
We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding group of imaging experts committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic procedures, work alongside a supportive team of medical professionals, and provide patients with relief and reassurance through accurate and timely imaging.
Responsibilities Overview
- Execute a wide range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts assessments
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, ensuring clear and compassionate communication at every stage
- Work in close collaboration with radiologists and physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any operational issues
- Keep comprehensive documentation of procedures and maintain electronic patient records accurately
- Remain knowledgeable about the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices
Education and Credentials
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program in Sonography is highly preferred
Required Certifications
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a similar credential
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
