TradeWise Build Talent is actively hiring experienced HVAC Service Technicians for a direct hire opportunity supporting commercial and industrial clients.

This role is ideal for a high-level service tech who can troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of HVAC systems while delivering top-tier customer service.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a seasoned HVAC professional with 8+ years of commercial service experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can handle heavy service call volumes, and takes pride in solving complex system issues.

Systems & Equipment

You’ll be servicing a wide range of equipment, including:

• RTUs (3–150 TON)
• VAVs & VFDs
• Gas & Electric Unit Heaters
• CRAC / Liebert Units
• Mini-Splits & Split Systems
• VRF Systems
• Chillers (Air & Water Cooled)

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems across commercial/industrial sites
• Perform service, startups, and warranty work
• Manage and prioritize service calls effectively
• Maintain strong communication with customers and internal teams
• Complete accurate service reports, invoices, and documentation
• Train and support entry to mid-level technicians
• Participate in on-call rotation (nights/weekends as needed)
• Maintain safety standards and proper PPE at all times

What You Bring

• 8+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across multiple systems
• Knowledge of electrical and control systems
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces
• Willingness to work rotating on-call schedule
