**Join a Dynamic Night Nursing Team!** **Job Description:** * Exciting opportunity for a competent Nurse to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment! * **Shift:** Nights from 7PM to 7AM * **Start:** ASAP * **Weekend Requirement:** * Yes, 2 to 4 shifts per month rotated among staff. * **On Call Requirement:** * Not required but may be requested during higher patient census. * **Floating Requirement:** * Will float to all Med/Surg departments under the supervision of Maya Sandoval. * **Nurse/Patient Ratio:** * 1:5-6 * **EMR System:** * EPIC * **Dress Code:** * Grey Scrubs * **Responsibilities:** * Meet OneCHRISTUS Competencies as a Leader of Self, Others, or Leaders. * Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. * Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. * Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side effects and effectiveness. * Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. * Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers. * **Job Requirements:** * **Education/Skills:** Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. * **Experience:** 1 year of experience in nursing specialty preferred. * **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** * BLS certification required. * RN License in the state of employment or a compact state. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
