Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, and monitor for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given thoroughly and accurately.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies for self and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the MedSurg nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• RN License in the state of employment or compact.
• Willing to work weekends, 2 to 4 shifts a month.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system.
