School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Job Columbus, OH Area
Now hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based position in the Columbus, Ohio area. This is an onsite role supporting students across a local K-12 district for the remainder of the school year.
Position Details
- Location: Columbus, OH area
- Setting: K-12 school district
- Schedule: 37.5 hours/week
- Dates: ASAP 05/21/2027
- Caseload: K-12 students across district buildings
Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy services under OT supervision
- Support students with fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional school-based needs
- Assist with implementing therapy plans and IEP-related goals
- Document services and student progress
- Collaborate with OTs, teachers, families, and school teams
Requirements
- Active Ohio COTA license/certification
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Comfortable working with K-12 students
- Strong communication and documentation skills
