MIG/TIG Welder Level IIThe MIG/TIG Welder Level II is responsible for the fabrication and welding of aluminum and stainless steel.Position Qualifications/Requirements:Ability to pass weld testAt least 1 year of experience reading a tape measure, identifying, and measuring materialMust be able to lift 50lbsPreferred Skills:At least 3 years of MIG and TIG welding experience in a production environment preferredAt least 3 year of experience using weld fillet gauges to ensure proper weld size and interpret tolerancesForklift certificationCore Duties:Perform MIG and TIG welds on aluminum and stainless steel in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.Examines weld for bead size and other specificationsRepair broken or cracked parts and fill holesPosition and clamp workpieces together or assemble them in jigs or fixturesSelect torch, torch tip, filler ford, and flux according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of materialPerform all necessary maintenance and repair on all equipment used in weldingHours:1st shift positionMonday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.Overtime as neededSpecial Requirements:Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.
