Receptionist PositionWe are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Receptionist to join our team. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors and is essential to delivering a positive, welcoming experience. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while efficiently managing administrative and front-desk responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.Experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred but not required. This position follows a flexible scheduling model, which may include weekends and holidays as needed. Work schedules are released in six-week intervals and may change based on operational needs.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesGreet and welcome visitors in a warm, professional mannerManage incoming calls with proper phone etiquette and clear communicationOversee visitor management and front-desk operationsReview documentation and ensure accurate data entry into computerized systemsPerform administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and correspondenceUtilize patient management and record-keeping softwareCollaborate with healthcare professionals to support seamless operationsSchedule & AvailabilityShifts may begin as early as 8:00 AM and end as late as 8:00 PMStandard shift: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PMAlternative shifts may include 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, depending on operational needsWeekdays, weekends, and holidays may be requiredFull six-week schedule commitment requiredQualificationsQualificationsCompleted High School diploma or GEDPrevious experience as a receptionist or front desk professionalFriendly, outgoing, and approachable demeanorStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong customer service mindsetProficiency with computers and office softwareAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFamiliarity with health information management practices is a plusEmployment Verification For applicable roles, previous employment must be verified through our background vendor. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure.While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
