Role Description The Industrial Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Ridgeville, SC. This role is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. Daily tasks include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and documenting all work performed. The technician will read and interpret technical drawings and manuals, coordinate with supervisors and contractors, and prioritize work orders to minimize downtime. The role also includes adhering to safety procedures, maintaining tools and parts inventory, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in equipment reliability and workplace safety. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in mechanical maintenance and repair of industrial equipment, including troubleshooting, component replacement, and preventive maintenance. Experience with basic electrical systems in an industrial setting, such as motors, controls, and wiring, following appropriate safety standards. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints, to diagnose and resolve issues. Strong safety mindset, with knowledge of OSHA or similar safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe use of power tools and equipment. Effective problem‑solving, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction maintenance is preferred; experience with commercial construction environments is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training, trade school, or relevant certifications (e.g., industrial maintenance, electrical, HVAC) are beneficial. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and working in various environmental conditions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
