Machine Operator

• Operation and setting up of one of the following machines: Filler, Gasser, and/or Capper Machines

• Clean and maintain machine before, during and after production.

• Calibrate the scale used for weighing cans before production begins.

• Check and record concentrate and/or solvent weight every 15 minutes and spot check in between.

• Observe line for nonconformances

• Participate in machine changeovers

• Maintain accurate and legible downtime reports and weight sheets.

• Submit reports after each production job and end of day

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-3 years of machine operation experience

• Mechanical aptitude

• Hand tool knowledge (specifically caliper and scale)

• Capable of lifting and carrying 25 lbs. for 10 feet.

• Capable of standing during the entire shift

• Must be okay working in a non-climate-controlled environment

• Must be able to read and write English

• Must possess math skills and be capable of using a calculator to perform calculations needed to complete daily reports.
