ABOUT THIS ROLE We are seeking a skilled and user-focused UX Designer to design and enhance the front end application customer experience . This role will play a critical part in delivering intuitive, consistent, and efficient user experiences across digital and brick-and-mortar touchpoints for international remittance and related financial services. The UX Designer will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Business, Compliance, Network, Operations and other teams to translate business and user needs into effective, user-centered design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user experiences for POS application for financial service products, including customer-facing digital journeys and interactions.
• Support UX design for workflows, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and usability.
• Ensure a consistent user experience across digital platforms and brick-and-mortar environments.
• Partner closely with Product Managers to translate business requirements and BRDs into clear UX flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications using Figma .
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and validation with customers and agents; synthesize insights into actionable design improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible, clearly documented, and accurately implemented.
• Work with various stakeholders to ensure designs meet regulatory, security, and operational requirements.
• Establish and maintain reusable design patterns and UX standards to support scalability and consistency.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, data, and KPIs to continuously improve the user experience.
• Support product launches by ensuring UX readiness and post-launch refinements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of experience in UX or Product Design , preferably within financial services, fintech, payments, or transactional platforms.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, user-centered design methodologies, and usability best practices.
• Proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, design collaboration and video editing.
• Experience designing both customer-facing digital products and POS tools .
• Familiarity with omni-channel or multi-platform experiences (web, POS, internal tools).
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment alongside Product and Engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with a passion for solving complex user problems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• AI for work on the design and optimization.
• Utilize Generative AI tools to support UI design and UX workflows, including creating interface prototypes, design concepts, and user journey mapping based on prompts, data insights, and business requirements. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with international remittance, FX, payments, or regulated financial products.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design.
• Experience working closely with compliance-driven design constraints.
