Full Stack Developer (Python, Docker)

Salary: $78,000 - 118,000 per year Requirements:

• We bring at least 5 years of experience designing and implementing routing, scheduling, or optimization solutions.
• We have a strong algorithmic foundation, including graph theory, clustering, and heuristic or approximation methods.
• We are proficient in Python or Java for building optimization services and related tooling.
• We have experience delivering scalable, high-performance systems integrated with enterprise control platforms.
• We can create test harnesses that verify both solution correctness and optimization effectiveness.
• We have experience with performance tuning, parallel execution, and processing large datasets.
• We are familiar with REST APIs, data pipelines, and common system integration approaches.
• We have experience adding logging, metrics, and monitoring for operational visibility.
• We can document algorithms, constraints, and operating procedures, and collaborate across engineering and operations teams.

• We design and implement vehicle routing and scheduling algorithms using OR-Tools to produce optimal field assignments.
• We develop clustering logic to group workloads geographically and reduce travel time and cost.
• We build constraint models covering capacity, time windows, skills, priorities, and survey rules within the optimizer.
• We integrate the optimizer with Mojo control system APIs for job intake, execution, and result publication.
• We create both batch and real-time optimization modes to support scheduled and on-demand routing.
• We refactor optimizer components into modular, extensible strategy interfaces for new routing methods.
• We implement preprocessing pipelines to standardize locations, distances, and travel matrices.
• We develop automated test harnesses to validate outcomes against known datasets and constraints.
• We define solution-quality scoring metrics such as distance, balance, SLA adherence, and cost.
• We build regression benchmarks to compare new algorithm performance against baseline outputs.
• We add parallel processing and scaling support for large route sets and high agent volumes.
• We instrument services with logging and metrics to monitor runtime, solver performance, and solution quality.
• We package optimizer services for CI/CD deployment with reproducible builds and environment configuration.
• We document routing logic, constraints, integration touchpoints, and operational runbooks.
• We provide production support, tuning, and ongoing refinement of optimization heuristics and performance.
