RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• On-call required 1 day every week with one late shift per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
• May be required to float between Downtown/Northeast/Kershaw campuses based on census and staffing needs
• 2+ years of OR experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required, ACLS and PALS preferred
• Must provide radiation badge through agency
• Block schedule available with manager approval based on unit needs
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Work with diverse surgical procedures including general OR, orthopedic, robotic surgeries, and specialty procedures
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking with pass distributed at pickup
• Travel experience required
• Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• Must be aware of potential emergency response team assignment during hurricane season (June-November)

This acute care hospital features 75 staffed beds and operates 8 operating rooms with a daily census of 8-12 cases. The facility provides comprehensive surgical services including robotic surgery capabilities and utilizes advanced equipment such as MAZOR, MAKO, and MADACTA TABLE systems. The hospital offers interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy support, ensuring comprehensive patient care across all age groups from infants to geriatrics.
