Registered Veterinary Technician - Veterinary Medical Center of Woodland Hills

Registered Veterinary Technician Location: Woodland Hills, California. Hourly pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour depending on experience, education, licensure, and certifications. Qualifications & Responsibilities Registered Veterinary Technician licensed in California with an active, good standing license. 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting. Knowledge of industry tools and equipment. Passion for working with animals and their owners. Experience with proper animal handling and restraint; Fear Free preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to obtain accurate, thorough medical histories. Perform basic exam procedures. Skilled in venipuncture and intravenous (IV) catheter placement (cephalic, saphenous, jugular). Able to position and perform digital radiography (X‑ray). Perform complete dental procedures including digital x‑rays, scaling, polishing, charting, and extractions. Comfortable with general anesthesia and surgical assisting (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic technique). Laboratory skills including microscope (ear and fecal cytology) and in‑house laboratory equipment. Utilize ultrasound to obtain diagnostic images and urine samples (preferred). Excellent client communication and education. Perform Technician appointments independently, including accurate medical record documentation. Benefits Competitive pay.
