Clinical Laboratory Scientist
Serves as the Clinical Laboratory Scientist within the laboratory; responsible for planning, overseeing, and performing all clinical laboratory testing; plans work and delegates assignments for personnel.
Develops and recommends quality control procedures, evaluates new test methods, maintains standard operating procedures, and ensures compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards; recognizes and solves quality assurance problems.
Oversees daily learning activities, training civilian and military staff and trainees; evaluates performance and competency, and provides technical direction and in-service training.
Maintains medical supplies, monitors cost-containment measures, and assists with budgeting and contracting for supplies and services.
