Filler Equipment OperatorMaintain safe and efficient operation of filler equipment while maximizing production up-time, minimizing shrink, and maintaining quality.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAvailable to work 3rd Shift 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM. SUN, MON, THU, FRI, SAT. OFF TUE, WEDPerform safe and effective set up, operation, and cleaning of the ESL filling equipmentConduct the sterilization and manual washing of machine componentsPerform routine basic chemical concentration testsConduct basic troubleshooting of equipment and contact maintenance when necessaryReport any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediatelyMaintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issuesFollow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirementsThe requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as requiredEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredProduction or general work experience preferredCertification and/or License – may be required during course of employmentKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAble to follow directions and carry out instructionsAble to effectively work in a team environmentAble to legibly write entries for record keepingAble to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsMust be able to read, write and speak EnglishMust have a working knowledge of sanitation, production and CIP clean up.Must be able to perform dye checks, weight adjustments and overall packaging duties.Must be able to do full clean up, sterilization, production and maintenance of ESL fillers.Must be able to maintain optimum productivity on a daily basis.Ability to perform heavy manual labor.Must be able to operate box forming and casing equipment.Must be able to set up and operate coding/marking equipment.An Equal Opportunity Employer
