Shift Timings -
Early Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Late Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:30, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Healthcare Case Manager to support patients throughout their treatment journey by coordinating care, assisting with insurance approvals, and ensuring timely access to prescribed therapies. In this role, you'll serve as a key advocate for patients while collaborating with healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, insurance companies, and internal teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of patient cases and coordinate care from start to finish.
  • Assist patients and healthcare providers with insurance approvals, appeals, and reimbursement processes.
  • Support patient assistance and copay assistance program enrollment.
  • Communicate with physicians, specialty pharmacies, insurance providers, and patient advocacy organizations.
  • Educate patients and providers on coverage requirements, available resources, and therapy access.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and patient records.
  • Identify barriers to treatment and develop solutions to help patients access care quickly.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects.

Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare case management, patient support, care coordination, reimbursement, utilization review, social services, nursing, or related healthcare fields.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare insurance, reimbursement, prior authorizations, and patient assistance programs.
  • Excellent communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience working with patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, or specialty pharmacies.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
