Finance Attorney

Responsibilities Represent lenders and corporate borrowers in financing arrangements including acquisition and leveraged buyout financings. Lead private equity-backed financings across various industries. Structure, negotiate, and document secured and unsecured lending facilities, including ABL, unitranche, and cash flow transactions. Draft credit agreements, commitment papers, security documents, guarantees and related financing transaction documents. Handle bilateral and syndicated credit facilities, including intercreditor agreements and AALs. Document and close mezzanine debt transactions and preferred equity investments. Collaborate with and support various practice groups in finance related matters. Serve as primary point of contact for active finance matters. Requirements JD from an ABA‑accredited law school. 8 to 15 years of leveraged finance/transactional workout experience at a nationally recognized law firm, including cross‑border transactions. Strong drafting and communication skills and ability to work in a team setting. Ability to manage complex transactions and tight timeframes. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range $350,000 to $425,000, dependent on years out of law school, experience, and other job‑related factors as permitted by law. This range does not include other forms of compensation or benefits that may be offered in connection with the job.
