Job Summary
Join our team as a Tree Trimmer/Grounds person and become a vital part of maintaining healthy, beautiful, and safe outdoor environments. In this energetic role, you will assist with tree care, trimming, and landscape maintenance while supporting arborists with essential ground operations. Your work will help enhance urban landscapes, improve safety, and promote thriving green spaces. Responsibilities
- Assist with tree trimming, pruning, and removal using proper rigging techniques to ensure safety and precision.
- Support arborists in operating bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access high branches safely.
- Perform ground-based tasks such as lawn care, landscape maintenance, and debris cleanup to keep work sites tidy and safe.
- Support rigging operations by securing loads and ensuring safe handling of branches and equipment.
- Maintain equipment including tools, chain saws, blowers, bucket trucks, and safety gear to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards related to tree care, landscaping, and equipment operation.
Experience
- Prior experience or growing interest in tree care, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques for safely lowering branches or heavy materials.
- Experience operating bucket trucks or similar aerial lift equipment is a plus.-
- Basic understanding of lawn care, landscaping principles, and general horticultural practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques in tree trimming and landscape maintenance. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in arboriculture and landscape care while contributing to vibrant outdoor spaces!
