Senior IT Project Manager

- Location: New York, NY
- Duration: 6 Months
- Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
- Working Days/Hours: Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
- Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining project scope, objectives, timelines, budget, and resources.
- Manage the project team to ensure all activities are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the project stays on track and within budget.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, core team members, and extended project teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, project sponsors, and team members.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, ensuring effective and efficient use.
- Ensure project deliverables meet required quality standards and that project processes are consistently followed.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed and the project is closed out in a timely and efficient manner.
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience.
- Experience managing finance system projects is preferred.
- Minimum experience with 5 full Project Life Cycles, preferably with multinational corporations.
- Experience with both Waterfall and AGILE methodologies.
- Expertise in using Project Planning Management tools.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to convey information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
- Good time management skills to manage own time and the time of team members to meet project deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues that arise during the project.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Planview experience is required.
