Billing Compliance Representative

Waste & Environmental Services Industry | Irwindale, CA (Fully Onsite) Temporary Assignment | $23.50/hour About the Opportunity A well-established organization in the waste and environmental services industry is seeking a Billing Compliance Representative to join a high-volume billing and customer operations team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, customer service, data entry, and transactional processing in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with call center, customer service, order processing, or administrative experience looking to gain exposure to billing operations and compliance processes. Key Responsibilities Process high-volume billing and service transactions throughout the day Review and troubleshoot account discrepancies and service-related issues Determine appropriate actions and resolutions based on established processes Respond to inquiries submitted through internal systems and email workflows Enter and maintain accurate customer and account information Document actions, updates, and resolutions within company systems Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution Maintain productivity, accuracy, and service standards Follow established procedures while handling sensitive customer and billing information Qualifications 1+ year of call center, customer service, order processing, administrative support, or data entry experience Strong typing and data entry skills; 40+ WPM preferred Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines High School Diploma or GED required Billing experience is a plus but not required Experience with order management, workflow, or billing systems is helpful Bilingual Spanish is a plus Schedule & Compensation Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM preferred Open to an 8:00 AM-6:00 PM schedule with overtime Some overtime required Two Saturdays per month required (7:00 AM-12:30 PM) 100% onsite in Irwindale Pay rate of $23.50/hour Initial assignment of 3-4 months with potential for extension based on performance Ideal Candidate Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Comfortable processing large amounts of information accurately Strong customer service mindset with excellent attention to detail Able to make sound decisions and resolve issues independently Dependable, organized, and accountable Comfortable working within established procedures and performance metrics Enjoys balancing data entry, problem-solving, and customer support responsibilities Brings experience from call centers, customer service, order processing, logistics support, billing support, or administrative operations backgrounds By submitting to this position, you are agreeing to be included in our talent pool for future hiring for similarly qualified positions.
