Job Title

Greeting and seating of guests during working hours in the dining outlet.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and a minimum of 3 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet, greet and seat Members/Guests
• Handle menus used during that particular meal period ensuring they are presentable
• Answering of phone during hours of operation
• Reporting to supervisor any needs, problems or concerns expressed by Members/Guests
• Assist servers when needed and when time allows with clearing, cleaning and resetting tables
• Clear extra settings from tables when seating guests
• Attend outlet staff meeting as scheduled
• Organize and keep Host/Hostess stand clean and neat
• In this position you will be expected to be available to work in various locations of Food and Beverage outlets depending on business levels. In addition, you will be expected to work holidays wherever needed even if your primary outlet is closed.

Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities for this job.

Language Skills: Have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Have the ability to write simple correspondence.

Mathematical Skills: Have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
