Job Description Radiographer - Henry Ford Health Job Title : Radiographer Schedule: Part Time Days, 20 Hours Weekly. Weekday schedule from 7:00 AM t0 3:30 PM. Every other weekend rotation from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Role Overview : As a Radiographer, you play a critical role in patient care by performing radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. Your work directly supports physicians in evaluating pathological entities, contributing to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. This role is essential in ensuring patients receive timely and precise imaging services, which are fundamental to their healthcare journey. What You Will Do : Perform radiologic procedures as ordered by physicians to evaluate pathological entities. Utilize independent judgment to determine appropriate radiographic techniques and positioning. Ensure patient safety by adhering to established protocols and best practices. Maintain required hours of continuing education to stay current with industry standards. Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. What You Will Need : Required Qualifications : High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 12 months of hire).
