Adjunct Faculty- School of Education

Job Summary Mercy University's School of Education Studies is looking for qualified adjunct faculty members who can teach foundational courses (e.g., Special Education, Leadership, Secondary Education, Early Childhood /Childhood Education, Literacy and/or TESOL programs). Required Skills & Experience A teaching certificate from the relevant field Teaching experiences in K-12 schools Teaching experiences in Higher Education Experiences in online teaching and learning Willingness to work with students from diverse backgrounds and needs Collegiality with other faculty members Effectiveness in communication Skilled to prepare teacher candidates for working with students with diverse learning needs in a variety of settings Education Requirements A doctoral/M.S. degree from a relevant field (such as Early Childhood/Childhood Education, Special Education, Educational Leadership, Literacy, TESOL, Secondary Education) A teaching certificate from the relevant field (e.g., SWD, Childhood Education, Social Studies) Preferred, but not mandatory: ability to teach on the Dobbs Ferry and Bronx campuses in person during the day #J-18808-Ljbffr
