We are seeking a Utility Billing Customer Service Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for assisting customers regarding their utility account. Our Utility Billing Department is a fast paced, team oriented environment where we strive to provide top notch customer service on a daily basis. Our team is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, adaptable and kind representative. We are looking for someone that will promote positive relationships with our client’s residents and has a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:- Assists customers over the telephone with a wide variety of questions, requests and complaints related to their utility account and utility bills to include, but not limited to, assisting customers with start/stop requests for services, explanation of services provided, budget billing, delinquencies, billing inquires and adjustments and other issues related to their utility services.
- Prepares utility statements for delivery to the post office.
- Coordinate with account managers to ensure all resident questions and concerns are properly addressed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
