Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Oracle/MySQL Database Administrator to support database infrastructure and Drupal-based applications hosted primarily in AWS GovCloud. This position combines database administration, systems administration, performance tuning, and web application support across development, pre-production, and production environments. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, maintain, and tune Oracle and MySQL database environments. Manage Oracle RAC, RMAN backups, disaster recovery, storage, database space, and high availability. Administer Amazon RDS databases and supporting AWS GovCloud infrastructure. Support Drupal environments running on Red Hat, PHP, Apache, and AWS EC2. Create and configure database schemas, perform migrations, and update database scripts. Support data imports, stored procedures, database replication, and application development activities. Troubleshoot system and application issues and apply security and operational patches. Support legacy ColdFusion, JRun Java, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle RAC environments. Perform UNIX/Linux systems administration and ongoing performance monitoring. Qualifications: At least 7 years of database or systems administration experience. Hands-on experience administering Oracle databases, including RAC and RMAN. Experience with MySQL, Amazon RDS, and AWS-hosted infrastructure. Experience supporting Drupal, Red Hat Linux, PHP, Apache, and EC2 environments. Experience with database backup, recovery, migration, replication, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. AWS GovCloud or federal systems experience is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
