Founded by Griffin Haddrill and Gabby Gamad. Griffin sold his previous agency for eight figures at twenty-three and is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree. We don't chase trends. We pick the moment, then we elevate it.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

There is a short window in a company's life when the finance function is still a blank page and the decisions being made on top of it are already enormous. LV8 is in that window right now.

We have a capital partner. We have an acquisition strategy. We have a business growing faster than the machinery underneath it. And we have a CEO doing the financial thinking himself, because there is nobody here yet to build it with him.

So this is not a job managing a finance function. It is the job of building one, in the year it gets built. The close, the model, the forecast the company steers by, the deal math, the reporting our capital partner reads. None of it exists yet in the form it needs to. All of it is about to have somebody's fingerprints on it.

We are not hiring a CFO. We are hiring the person who builds the function a CFO would otherwise inherit, and who has every reason to still be running it when this company is several times the size it is today.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

The financials. Bookkeeping, monthly close, statements, cash, controls. Rigorous process, no drama.

Forecasting grounded in how we really make money. How many proposals go out, what share we win, how long they take, where the seasonality sits, how clients expand once they're in. Turn that into something the CEO can run the company on.

Deal and margin work. Pricing, campaign economics, contract structure, and a real point of view on where margin is won and lost.

Capital strategy and M&A. As we evaluate acquisitions, you'll be in the question of how to fund them, in the diligence, and in the integration afterward.

Reporting in two directions. Credible reporting to our capital partner. Clear, usable numbers for a leadership team that doesn't speak finance natively.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Deep command of the craft: accounting, FP&A, modeling, and enough operating exposure to know what the numbers are describing
• Time at a company small enough that you had to do the work yourself, and you preferred it that way
• Creative instincts about structure. When someone asks what happens if we do it this way, you want to go find out
• The judgment and presence to represent the company credibly to investors, partners and auditors
• Results you can point to and walk through in detail. We care more about what you've built than how you present it
• Ambition to grow into a larger finance leadership role, and the willingness to earn it by building one

Agency, media, entertainment or creator-economy background is a plus. So is private equity reporting, incentive compensation design, or M&A integration experience. None of it is required if the rest is there.

DETAILS

Location. Full time in person in Las Vegas, NV 89148.

Compensation. $150,000 to $175,000 base, depending on experience. Bonus eligible, with a raise structure built to move quickly as you deliver.

Interview Process. Generally, it looks like this:

1. Intro call with our recruiting partner
2. A 45-minute conversation with the CEO and COO together
3. A conversation with our capital partner

We may add a conversation or two as needed to get to know you properly. Either way, we move in days rather than months, which is how we run everything else.
