Assistant Housekeeper - PRN

Join a dedicated team as an Assistant Housekeeper on a part-time, on-site basis, supporting a healthcare facility in the Southern Gulf Coast region. This role involves selecting appropriate cleaning materials, preparing solutions, and ensuring patient rooms are thoroughly cleaned after discharge, including beds, floors, bathrooms, and furnishings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean specialized areas such as Surgical and Cath Lab rooms as assigned.
• Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping throughout the facility.
• Maintain linen stock quality and report any issues to supervisory staff.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and return supplies to their proper places.
• Sanitize public and staff areas, including plazas and medical office buildings.
• Handle waste collection, including hazardous materials, following infection control protocols.
• Clean isolation rooms according to CDC and facility policies.
• Assist with floor cleaning and other duties as assigned to support organizational values and mission.

Education and Experience: Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience in a healthcare or similar environment is preferred. Ability to follow detailed cleaning guidelines and work under supervision is essential.

Requirements: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to safety and infection control standards. Ability to operate cleaning equipment and manage supplies efficiently.
