Full-Time Faculty Position in Classical Hematology

The Department of Internal Medicine of McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston invites applications for a full-time faculty position (Classical Hematology) at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Division of Hematology. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated hematologist with a strong academic interest in clinical and translational research and a passion for teaching.

Position Overview:

Clinical Responsibilities: The successful candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient care for a broad patient population with hematologic diseases within the Memorial Hermann and/or Harris Health system.

UTHealth is home to one of the nation's largest Comprehensive Sickle Cell Centers and one of the largest Hemophilia Centers.

Teaching and Mentorship: This role offers the opportunity to mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, fostering the next generation of hematologists.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree, or equivalent.
• Board-certified or eligible in Hematology.
• Good record of academic achievement and interest in teaching, clinical care, and research.
