Job Summary:
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurse position available in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized care for adult patients, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions. The position requires flexibility with floating to different units and adherence to unit-specific protocols and equipment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license(s), Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. Up-to-date resume documenting at least 2 years of experience in Intermediate Care Units or Progressive Care Units, including travel experience, and drivers license with matching address.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory patients; knowledge of specialty equipment such as temp pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo.
• Additional Information: Floating to different units is required; navy blue scrubs are preferred. The unit comprises 64 beds, including 15 designated neuro beds, caring for adult patients aged 18 and older.
