RN - ICU

Registered Nurse – ICU

Seaside, OR | Critical Access Hospital

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
• Float to other units or nearby sister facilities based on census needs and individual skill set
• Participate in on-call rotation as required due to low census situations
• Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and charting
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Maintain a personal vehicle for use during this assignment, as transportation may be required between facilities

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
• Must be willing to float to other units and nearby facilities as needed; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs or Leads accepted)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience, particularly in a critical access or multi-facility health system environment
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
• Experience floating across multiple units or care settings
