Senior Motion Graphic DesignerNOW HIRING: Senior Motion Graphic DesignerCompensation: $130,000-$150,000 per yearThis role must be in-office at one of our regional offices in Sacramento, St. Louis, or Newark.Job OverviewThe Sr. Motion Graphic Designer will provide expertise in motion graphic design as well as the generation of new and innovative ways to market SBM capabilities and advance company growth. The designer must be capable of creating a finished product using a combination of video supplied by the team or client. This person is also responsible for creating outstanding video, motion and animation content.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDirectly manage multiple concurrent projects, often requiring outside resources to produce the most effective designDesign and work with SBM's IT department to develop and enhance SBMManage content development and design of SBM go-to-market collateralSupport marketing and sales presentations as neededDevelop insightful, aesthetically compelling, and functional motion concepts that support creative ideas toward the end goalDesign and produce compelling video and web materialsMaintain and promote an internal awareness of industry design trends and standards with a strong focus on processes and toolsMentor and support other motion graphic staff toward the goal of accelerating skill progression through a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharingGenerate unique and original ideas using primarily 2D assets to create designsAbility to deliver polished designs under tight deadlinesStrong attention to detail and sense of designMust be able to take projects from concept to completionCollaborate with other team membersQualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.Education and/ or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 5-7 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver's license.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience with After Effects & Premiere.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesCarries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
