Licensed Practical Nurse - LTC

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a position in a Long Term Care (LTC) facility. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in LTC nursing.

Job Details

Shift: 4x12 variable shifts (either days or nights)
Duration: Traveler's choice of 26 or 13 week assignment
Patient Ratios: 1:20
Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
Floating Required: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs

Qualifications

Active Alaska nursing license is required
Minimum of 1 year of Long Term Care (LTC) experience
BLS certification is required
All caregivers must obtain Alaska Food Worker Certification (provided during orientation on-site)
No previous travel experience is required for the position
Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

Additional Information

Patients per shift will be managed effectively to maintain high standards of care.
No local candidates will be considered; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
A one-time fee applies for the Alaska Food Worker Certification.
Facility provides free parking and shuttle transportation to local and airport areas.
Submit all requests for time off (RTO) with your application; no RTO considered post-offer.
