Description: Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend night shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, and Cardiology Diagnostics. Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Candidates must have proficiency in using EPIC for charting. Candidates must have experience with IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management. This role involves working in fast-paced environments dealing with critically ill patients. Team members will support a wide array of patient diagnoses and surgical needs. Interdisciplinary support will be available from various specialized services. Nurses will be responsible for managing critical care tasks and ensuring compliance with all protocols. Important compliance processes must be adhered to prior to starting the assignment. References from previous employers are required to verify experience and qualifications. Candidates must ensure that they meet all provided qualifications to be considered for the position.
