Quality Supervisor - Aerospace Manufacturing (Cudahy, CA) Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy is currently looking for a Quality Supervisor to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Engineering Manager at our Aerospace Manufactory in Cudahy, CA. Salary Rate: $100,000 - $120,000 DOE Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and support Quality Engineers and Technicians in daily activities. Supervise and assist in managing priorities in the Inspection department Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, customer requirements, and internal quality procedures, including AS9100 and ISO requirements. Investigate nonconforming materials and products and lead root cause and corrective action activities. Partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement preventive measures. Conduct internal audits and support customer, regulatory, and third-party audits. Review and analyze quality metrics, trends, scrap reports, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities. Ensure calibration and control of inspection tools and measuring equipment. Train and mentor employees on quality standards, inspection methods, and aerospace compliance requirements. Maintain accurate quality records and ensure documentation is complete and audit ready. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving process efficiency. Promote and maintain a culture of safety, quality, and accountability throughout the facility. Help drive improvements to the QMS. Lead AS9100 audit preparation and act as an active participant during AS9100 audits. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of quality experience in aerospace manufacturing or a regulated manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP, and aerospace quality standards. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and specifications. Experience working with nonconformance reports (NCRs), CAPAs, and supplier quality processes. Preferred Skills Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. Knowledge of customer-specific aerospace requirements. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency with measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs. Familiarity with MSA and Gage R&Rs. Familiarity with statistical analysis software (i.e. Minitab, JMP, SAS, etc.) Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
