Process Development Engineer

Globus Medical

Process Development Engineer at Globus Medical will optimize distribution center operations through labor standards improvements, workflow design, and productivity analysis. The role supports cost-reduction and quality initiatives while maintaining manufacturing documentation and collaborating cross-functionally on process improvements.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve labor standards, floor layouts, bills of materials, and routings for all products
Conduct time studies, ergonomic assessments, process flow analysis, and line balancing to identify improvements
Perform financial analysis for cost reduction and quality improvement projects with recommendations
Design and optimize distribution center layouts and develop flexible manufacturing cell designs
Support root cause analysis activities and develop data-driven solutions to operational problems

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience with minimum 2 years related experience
Working knowledge of GD&T, SPC, Validation, and PFMEA
Proficiency in capacity modeling, time-studies, balance tables, and flexible work-cell design
Strong skills in Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD, and ERP systems
Familiarity with Six Sigma tools and Lean Manufacturing concepts
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
