Senior Account Executive

Our client is looking for a high-performing Account Executive to join their growing sales team in New York City. This is an opportunity for a proven AE who knows how to run a full sales cycle, build their own pipeline, and consistently deliver against quota.

The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior level sales professional with a strong track record of quota attainment and experience selling HR technology into mid-market and enterprise organizations . You’ll have significant ownership over your territory and sales process, with approximately 50% of your pipeline expected to be self-generated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of enterprise opportunities
• Generate approximately 50% of your own pipeline through outbound prospecting
• Develop relationships with senior decision-makers within enterprise organizations
• Lead discovery, presentations, negotiations, and closing conversations
• Manage deal cycles typically ranging from 90–120 days
• Close deals generally ranging from $80K–$150K
• Consistently work toward an annual quota of approximately $1M
• Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from closed deal to implementation
• Represent our client at select trade shows and customer events
• Maintain accurate pipeline and activity management in Salesforce and SalesLoft

Requirements :

• Proven success as an Account Executive , ideally at the mid-market or enterprise level
• Strong, demonstrable track record of quota attainment
• Experience selling HR technology / Recruiting software
• Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles
• Ability to independently prospect, build pipeline, and manage opportunities from start to finish
• Highly self-sufficient, driven, and accountable
• Strong consultative selling and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a hybrid NYC environment, onsite 3 days per week
