Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in OB/GYN, orthopedic, general surgery, and endoscopy practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care in the operating room setting.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control practices.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond effectively to changes in condition.
- Assist in the preparation of the operating room and necessary instruments.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in the Operating Room.
- Experience in OB/GYN, orthopedic, general surgery, or endoscopy preferred.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Must reside more than 25 miles from the facility.
Shift Details
The position includes a Monday to Friday schedule with possible evening and weekend call within a rotation. Typical shifts will be 5x8 hours, starting between 0600-0800 and ending between 1430-1630, based on the start time. Availability for overnight call and weekend rotation is required.
