AP Manager

Vaco Arizona is partnering with a top client in Tolleson that is looking to add an Accounts Payable Manager to their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced AP professional who enjoys leading a team, improving processes, and overseeing the full accounts payable function in a fast-paced environment. This direct-hire opportunity is fully onsite and paying up to $80,000 annually.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full-cycle Accounts Payable process, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor management
• Manage and mentor Accounts Payable staff, providing training and performance support
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments
• Review AP aging reports and resolve outstanding issues or discrepancies
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and handle escalated inquiries
• Oversee month-end AP close activities, including accruals and reconciliations
• Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Assist with cash flow planning and payment scheduling
• Support audit requests by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Partner with accounting and finance leadership to support business objectives and reporting needs

Requirements:

• 3+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
