About the Role:
Kallman and Company LLP, a leading tax advisory firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a dynamic Tax Manager to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead tax planning and compliance for a diverse client base while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee tax compliance and reporting for clients across various industries.
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize client tax positions and minimize liabilities.
Conduct tax research and analysis to stay updated on regulatory changes and their implications.
Review and prepare complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and interns within the tax department.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and client needs.
Assist in tax audits and communicate effectively with taxing authorities on behalf of clients.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and support.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA license (a must)
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in tax preparation.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
