Position Overview The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout guest rooms and public spaces. This role is essential to delivering a positive, comfortable, and safe environment for guests and staff. Key Responsibilities Clean guest rooms, patios, and surrounding areas to meet cleanliness standards Sanitize bathrooms and restock guest amenities such as toiletries, linens, and printed materials Remove and replace used towels and bed linens Clean and maintain public areas including restrooms, lobbies, hallways, and exterior walkways Perform laundry duties, including washing and folding towels, linens, and uniforms Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and supply rooms Report any maintenance issues or needed repairs to the supervisor Follow all assigned daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklists Respond to special cleaning or guest service requests as directed Ensure safe and appropriate use of cleaning supplies and chemicals Handle lost and found items according to company policy Support laundry attendants and other team members as needed Qualifications Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required (training available) Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and extended standing Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently Professional, courteous attitude when interacting with guests and team members Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
