Job Responsibilities The Allergy Technician will maintain a professional demeanor & positive attitude, and proactively address any issues concerning the allergy department through an objective manner.Respect, Integrity, Safety, Expertise, Unity and Positive energy with day‑to‑day operations are expected to create a professional and productive workplace.Develops and maintains effective, professional relationships with providers, medical office staff, and PPS team. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, as well as the ability to identify appropriate tasks to be carried out.Must show great detail to orientation and accuracy and exhibit quality performance of essential job functions.Professional decorum is expected to be maintained in/out of the workplace. Responsible for the effectiveness of the immunotherapy processes to include the administration of quality allergy testing, immunotherapy injections, and the formulation and compounding of the allergy medication. Will help ensure compliance throughout the duration of immunotherapy treatment.Will complete all appropriate paperwork and insurance eligibility verification for each patient prior to test and immunotherapy as appropriate. Assist with maintenance and security of inventory levels. Qualifications Experience in a Medical Office setting, including scheduling, patient check‑in/check‑out, and basic administrative tasks. Demonstrated Patient Care skills with a focus on safety, comfort, confidentiality, and clear communication. Ability to accurately manage and update Medical Records in electronic health record (EHR) systems. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is preferred but not required, depending on experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Attention to detail, reliable time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy clinic setting.
