About the Role

\n

\n

We're seeking a polished, consultative VP of Business Development to build and grow relationships with major enterprise clients. In this role, you'll engage senior Finance and Marketing leaders and help them convert eligible assets — excess inventory, real estate, fleet vehicles, capital equipment, and more — into trade credit that funds media and other business investments. This is a field-based, individual-contributor role built for a hunter who thrives on long, consultative sales cycles (typically 3–6 months or more) and wants to sell a sophisticated, high-value solution rather than a commoditized product — with strong long-term earning potential to match.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

\n

\n

\n
• Develop and close new business with enterprise, consumer-facing companies
\n
• Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders, including CEOs, CFOs, COOs, Presidents, CMOs, and other Marketing leaders
\n
• Position our asset-monetization and media solutions as strategic answers to financial and advertising-investment challenges
\n
• Conduct thoughtful discovery to identify business needs, underperforming assets, and opportunities to create value
\n
• Own the full sales cycle — prospecting, outreach, negotiation, contract development, close, and account expansion
\n
• Generate new opportunities through networking, cold outreach, conferences, and trade shows, in addition to inbound leads from our internal business-development team
\n
• Partner with internal sales, media, finance, and operations teams to structure compelling client solutions
\n
• Negotiate commercial terms and maintain accurate pipeline and account records
\n

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

\n

\n

\n
• 5+ years of successful outside, consultative, enterprise, or complex B2B sales experience
\n
• A track record of selling and influencing at the executive level within large organizations
\n
• Background in financial services, fintech, commercial real estate, financial advisory, digital media, adtech, martech, media investment, or another complex solution-sales environment
\n
• Strong financial and business acumen — comfortable discussing P&L impact, asset value, and strategic financial solutions
\n
• Familiarity with media, advertising, or digital/programmatic marketing investment is a plus
\n
• Excellent executive-level communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
\n
• A proactive hunter mindset, with resilience and comfort navigating objections
\n
• Ability to manage a multi-stakeholder sales cycle of 3–6 months or longer
\n
• Willingness to work onsite five days a week when not traveling, and to travel approximately 50% of the time
\n
