Womens Health Nurse Practitioner

Job Description
The Womens Health Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive care to adult, pregnant, and postmenopausal women within a solo practice setting. This role involves autonomy in clinical decision-making through independent and collaborative practice, including physician supervision as needed, to ensure patient-centered, evidence-based care tailored to women's health needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate health status and concerns
- Develop individualized care plans addressing women's health needs
- Provide health education on preventive care and wellness
- Manage medications including prescribing and monitoring
- Deliver prenatal care and monitor maternal and fetal health
- Perform gynecological exams and related procedures
- Offer counseling to support patient decisions and health management
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in women's health nursing as a WHNP
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health
- Active Nurse Practitioner license
- Proficiency in patient assessment and clinical diagnosis
- Experience with gynecological procedures
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Strong patient education and communication skills
- Critical thinking and collaboration abilities
