Vaco is partnering with a global industry leader to hire an Accounting Manager for its Nashville team!

This is not your traditional Accounting Manager position. The role offers a unique blend of accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic business partnership , with the opportunity to work closely with department leaders and influence financial decisions across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Partner with department leaders to develop and manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Provide financial reporting, variance analysis, and actionable insights to support business decisions.
• Lead improvements in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Accounting and Tax.
• Oversee cash reporting and invoicing through a direct report.
• Manage and mentor team members, including supporting the accounting internship program.

What We're Looking For

• CPA required
• Prior people management experience required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably at a large company
• Strong analytical skills with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis.
• Public accounting experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with leaders across the business.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset with an interest in process improvement and developing others.
