Director Of Business Development (Wealth Management)

We’re looking for a high-performing business development professional to own and drive new client acquisition for a leading, fee-only wealth management firm.

This is a true growth role—not account management, not passive referrals. You’ll be responsible for building relationships, opening doors, and closing meaningful business with high-net-worth clients.

What You’ll Own

• Full business development lifecycle: prospect → relationship → close
• Building and managing a high-quality, self-generated pipeline
• Developing relationships with centers of influence (COIs) and referral partners
• Leading consultative conversations with high-net-worth prospects
• Navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
• Maintaining disciplined CRM tracking, pipeline reporting, and forecasting

Qualifications

• Experience in wealth management, financial services, or business development
• Track record of sourcing and closing new business
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Experience working with financial advisors, HNW clients, or COIs preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required;
  CFP®, CFA, or MBA a plus
• CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar)
• Willingness to travel

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $125,000 + performance-based incentives
