About The Role The Revenue Operations Analyst connects sales, marketing, customer success, and finance through reliable data, scalable systems, and well-defined processes. The role owns the reporting and operational infrastructure that supports forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, and revenue performance analysis. You will translate business requirements into CRM workflows, dashboards, and automation while investigating data quality issues and improving how teams operate across the revenue funnel. This hybrid role is based in San Francisco and partners closely with business stakeholders, systems administrators, and data teams. Key Responsibilities Analyze funnel, pipeline, bookings, retention, and forecast data using SQL, spreadsheets, and BI tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports in tools such as Salesforce, Looker, Tableau, or equivalent platforms Administer and improve CRM processes, including field definitions, validation rules, lead routing, opportunity stages, and lifecycle tracking Audit revenue data across CRM, billing, marketing automation, and product systems; resolve discrepancies and document source-of-truth logic Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable workflows, automations, reporting specifications, and system enhancements Support annual and quarterly planning through territory analysis, quota modeling, capacity analysis, and pipeline coverage reporting Document operating procedures and train cross-functional users on revenue processes, reporting standards, and system changes What We Are Looking For 3-6 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, business analytics, finance, or a related systems-focused role Advanced spreadsheet skills and working knowledge of SQL; able to join datasets, validate metrics, and troubleshoot data issues independently Hands-on experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM, plus familiarity with marketing automation, billing, or customer success systems Experience building dashboards and KPI reporting in Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools Strong understanding of revenue funnel metrics, including conversion rates, pipeline coverage, bookings, churn, retention, and forecast accuracy Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous business needs into concrete requirements and deliverables Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, information systems, data analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
