Experience: 8 14 years
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8 14 years of overall technology/product experience
- 5 10 years of hands-on experience managing and evolving enterprise marketing technology products and platforms
- Deep understanding of Marketing, CRM, Personalization, Digital Experience, Content, and Data platforms
- Strong experience translating business needs into technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Hands-on experience owning product roadmaps, backlogs, prioritization, and product delivery
- Strong experience working within Agile product engineering environments
- Experience with quarterly planning, backlog management, product discovery, prioritization frameworks, and incremental value delivery
- Strong understanding of system architecture, API integrations, cloud infrastructure, security requirements, and data models
- Ability to partner with engineering, architecture, data, platform, and business teams
- Experience evaluating technical trade-offs related to scalability, reliability, performance, technical debt, and platform modernization
- Experience defining product success metrics and using analytics and performance data to drive product decisions
- Experience with marketing enablement, distribution optimization, customer intelligence, personalization, and automation
- Experience identifying and prioritizing AI-enabled use cases for customer experience, operational efficiency, and marketing performance
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, regulatory, and compliance requirements
- Experience within Asset Management, Wealth Management, Financial Services, or another regulated industry ; Asset Management strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) , SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or equivalent experience
- Experience with SaaS applications and B2B software solutions
- Experience working within a product engineering/product operating model
- Experience defining product success metrics and using analytics for prioritization
- Familiarity with AI-enabled marketing technologies, DevOps, personalization platforms, and marketing automation
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with APIs, integrations, microservices, and data platforms
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and platform operations
- Background in CRM, ERP, marketing technology, AI/ML, or data-driven products
Key Responsibilities:
- Own technical product roadmaps for marketing and distribution technology products
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs and requirements
- Define detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
- Act as the primary product representative for Agile engineering teams
- Partner with architects, engineers, and platform teams on technical solutions
- Prioritize technical enablers, platform modernization, and technical debt remediation
- Use technology, data, and customer insights to drive strategic product decisions
- Define measurable success metrics and continuously evaluate product effectiveness
- Evaluate emerging technologies including AI, automation, and advanced analytics
- Partner with data and engineering teams on customer intelligence, personalization, and automation
- Identify and prioritize AI-enabled marketing use cases
- Ensure product decisions align with security, data governance, regulatory, and compliance requirements
- Communicate emerging technology opportunities and value propositions to technology leadership
