Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Customer Care in Saint Louis, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will contribute to daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset while bringing reliability, agility, and innovation to every shift.

DayTimeTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document observations, incidents, and unusual activity in accordance with post orders and reporting procedures.
- Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations, traffic direction, and crowd management, while maintaining professional interactions with employees and visitors.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
